8^th & 9^th August 2026 – ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. Tomorrow/ Today, 9^th August is Vianney Sunday. Please pray for the priests of the Parish and for all priests who are sick and bedridden.  The Second Collection made at all Masses on this day will go towards the Clergy Fund which takes care of the sick and retired priests.  Cheques may be drawn in favour of ‘Archdiocese of Bombay’ and dropped in the box kept in the Church.  Please write your name, mobile number, pan number and postal address behind the cheque. Please be generous.
2. The parish Women’s Cell warmly invites you to the Victories Showcase on Sunday, 16th August, from 8:00 AM to 12:00 Noon at the Church Undercroft to support talented women parishioners  and enjoy Open mic singing after the 9:30 AM Mass.
3. Saturday, 15^th August is the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Independence Day. It is a day of obligation. Flag hoisting program will be at 7.15 a.m. Masses on this day will be at 8 a.m., 9.30 a.m., 6 p.m. in Konkani & 7 pm. 
4. The Bombay Catholic Sabha of our parish, will be having a plantation drive on Sunday 16th August at 10.30 am. Free saplings will be distributed to parishioners.
5. Next Sunday is Prison Ministry Sunday. The Second Collection made at all Masses on this day will go towards the Prison Ministry. Cheques may be drawn in favour of ‘Archdiocese of Bombay’ and dropped in the box kept in the Church.  Please write your name, mobile number, pan number and postal address behind the cheque. Please be generous.
6. The Family Cell of our parish invites all families to a special session on Understanding Our Children’s Emotional World on Sunday, 23rd August 2026 after the 9.30 am mass. The session, led by Deacon Ivan, will focus on building trust and open communication, encouraging healthy coping strategies, and strengthening the mental well-being of our children and families. Registration after all masses on Saturdays & Sundays.
