Parish Notices
14th & 15th February 2026 – 6th SUNDAY OF THE YEAR – ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Tomorrow/ today, our Parish Family Cell will be celebrating World Marriage Day with renewal of marriage vows at 6 PM mass.
- 18th February is Ash Wednesday. Masses in English at 7 a.m. & 7 p.m. Mass in Konkani at 6 p.m.
- During the season of Lent, Way of the Cross will be held as follows: For children on Sundays after the 8 a.m. mass. In Konkani, on Wednesdays at 6.15 p.m. In English, on Fridays after the 7 p.m. mass. This will be conducted by the SCCs. Please refer to the notice board for details.
- This holy season of Lent, beginning on Ash Wednesday and concluding on Good Friday, close to 50 Lenten Crosses will travel from family to family in each community. Community coordinators will meet on Tuesday after the evening mass to plan the Lenten cross journey
- During the season of lent there will be Bible enrichment sessions arranged in the AV room every Saturday after the 7 p.m. mass.
- Next Sunday there will be an awareness talk on Legal aid reconciliation and resolving conflict after 9.30 am mass.
- Youth Mass on 22nd Feb at 9:30 am followed by conversation with Sr. Althiya in the 3rd floor AV room.
- The Bombay Catholic Sabha, will be having a free eye check-up camp on Sunday 22nd February after 9.30 a.m. mass. Glasses & frames will be provided at discounted rates. Register at the BCS helpdesk this weekend.
- All church associations and cells are requested to contact the Parish Office during office hours to book the AV room in advance for their weekly or monthly meetings. This will help to avoid conflicts and ensure smooth coordination of all parish activities.
- On the instructions of the Archbishop John Rodrigues, our Parish has initiated the process for selecting new PPC, youth council members & community co-ordinators for the year 2026-2028. The list of Family names is forwarded to the Community animators. Kindly ensure your family name is in the list.
- Those who are having old palms at home, please hand them over to our Sacristan.

Announcements on Ash Wednesday
1️. Lenten Cross in Families: This Lenten season, close to 50 crosses will be sent to our parish families. The Cross will move from one family to another during these 40 days of Lent. Every week, cluster families will meet at a designated place to reflect on the Five Wounds of Jesus. A special prayer booklet has been prepared to assist family and cluster prayer. The booklet will be given to each family at a nominal cost of ₹20, which may be paid to your community coordinator. We request all families to cooperate and participate wholeheartedly.
2️. Bible Enrichment Sessions: Every Saturday after Mass, there will be a Bible Enrichment Session during Lent. Kindly enrol your name at the Parish whatsapp contact.
3️. Youth Mass & Interactive Session: This Sunday at 9:30 a.m., there will be a Youth Mass, followed by an interactive session on the 3rd floor – AV Room. All youth are warmly invited to join.
4️. Legal Enrichment & Reconciliation Awareness Session: A special awareness session on legal matters and reconciliation will be held this Sunday after the 9:30 a.m. You are cordially invited to attend this helpful and enriching session.
5️. Way of the Cross – This Friday, the Way of the Cross will be conducted by the communities of Divine Mercy, Our Lady of Lourdes, and Prince of Peace. Let us participate prayerfully.
- Confessions: Confession on every Friday during lent from 6.30 pm to 7 pm and on Saturdays from 5.30 pm to 6 pm.

Parish Lenten Programme: 2026
Lenten Cross Pilgrimage:
During this Lenten season, the Cross will move from one family to another. Cluster-wise weekly prayer meetings will be held throughout Lent at strategic places.
The Lenten Cross journey will culminate on Good Friday in the church with a community-wise Way of the Cross, followed by preaching on the Five Wounds of Jesus by Fr. Hendry SVD.
Confessions: During Lent – every Friday from 6.30 to 7 p.m. & on Saturdays from 5.30 to 6.00 p.m.
Bible Enrichment Session:
Every Saturday after the 7:00 p.m. Mass in the AV Room.
Way of the Cross: On Sundays, after 8 am mass for children, on Wednesdays in Konkani at 6.15 pm & on Fridays after 7 pm mass by SCCs.
Legal Reconciliation Enrichment Session:
On Sunday 22nd February, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass in the church.
Youth Mass & Interactive Session:
On Sunday 22nd February – Youth Mass, followed by an interactive session in the 3rd Floor AV Room.
Eye-camp: On Sunday 22nd February, free eye testing & discounted prices for glasses in AV room in the morning.
Women in the Bible – Enrichment Session:
On Sunday 8th March, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass.
Wellness and Spiritual Health Session:
On Sunday 15th March, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass.
Blood Donation Camp:
On Sunday 15th March, blood donation camp will be held in the morning.
Passion Choir Recital:
On Sunday 22nd March, after the 6:00 p.m. mass, by our Victoria Choir.
Night Way of the Cross:
On Friday 27th March at 9 p.m. from the Church by Legion of Mary.
Palm Sunday ( 29th March):
Blessing of Palms at 8:00 a.m. followed by Mass.
Evening Procession with the Veronica Song.
