Parish Notices
28th & 29th March 2026 – HOLY WEEK – ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Palms will be blest at 8 a.m. mass tomorrow.
- Tomorrow/ Today, the Passo service will begin at 5 pm with Prayer, Procession, Veronica’s singing, Sermon by Fr. Joseph David followed by 6 pm mass.
- Confessions will be heard on Monday 30th & Tuesday 31st March in the morning from 7.30 to 8.00 am & in the evening from 5.30 to 8.30 pm.
- Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Maundy Thursday will be at 5.30 pm in Konkani and at 7.30 pm in English followed by silent adoration till 9.30pm. Holy adoration from 9.30 to 10.30 pm in Konkani & from 10.30 to 11.30 pm in English.
- On Good Friday – way of the cross in Konkani at 7 am in the church.
- The community way of the cross will start from the respective communities at the time set by the coordinators to conclude in the Church at 10am, to pray the last seven stations. After the way of the cross-Fr. Henry D’souza SVD will preach on the five wounds from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm. All are urged to take part in the Mission sermon.
- Good Friday service in Konkani at 4 pm & in English at 6 pm.
- Prayer service in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows on Saturday at 7.30 am.
- Easter Vigil Service will begin at 9.30 pm. All are urged to be punctual for the Easter service.
- Holy water will be distributed near the sacristy from 7 to 11 am on Easter Sunday. Avoid bringing large bottles. The Lenten program is circulated on whatsapp along with the Easter house blessing prayer.
- Ballot slip with your choice for community leadership, duly filled in, are received from 16 communities. We thank the community animators for all the efforts and goodwill put into this process.

FRIDAY 27TH MARCH 2026
The Legion of Mary will be conducting a Pilgrim Way of the Cross across 14 crosses in the vicinity of our parish starting at 10 p.m. from the Church.
SUNDAY 29TH MARCH 2026 – PALM SUNDAY
Blessing of Palms at 8.00 a.m. followed by procession to the Church for Mass. Mass in English at 9.30 a.m.
At 5 p.m. prayer in church followed by procession, Veronica’s song, sermon by Fr. Joseph David and mass at 6 p.m.
MONDAY 30TH & TUESDAY 31ST MARCH 2026
Confessions: Morning: 7.30 to 8.00 a.m.
Evening: 5.30 to 7.00 p.m. and 7.30 to 8.30 p.m.
THURSDAY 2ND APRIL 2026 – MAUNDY THURSDAY
5.30 p.m.: Mass of the Lord’s Supper in Konkani & Washing of the feet.
7.30 p.m.: Mass of the Lord’s Supper in English & Washing of the feet.
9.00-09.30 p.m.: Holy hour at the Altar of Repose(silent adoration)
9.30-10.30 p.m.: Holy hour at the Altar of Repose in Konkani.
10.30-11.30 p.m.: Holy hour at the Altar of Repose in English.
FRIDAY 3RD APRIL 2026 – GOOD FRIDAY (A Day of Fast & Abstinence)
07.00 a.m. : Way of the Cross in Konkani in Church
09.00 a.m. : The Way of the Cross will start from the respective
communities, praying the first seven stations along the
way. The remaining seven will be in the church beginning
at 10.00 a.m.
10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. : Sermon on Passion of the five wounds of Jesus
by Fr. Henry D’souza SVD
4.00 p.m. : Solemn Good Friday Service in Konkani
6.00 p.m. : Solemn Good Friday Service in English followed by Passo
service.
DIVINE MERCY NOVENA BEGINS ON GOOD FRIDAY AT 5.45 P.M., ON HOLY SATURDAY AFTER THE 7.30 A.M. SERVICE, ON EASTER SUNDAY AFTER 8 A.M. MASS & ON WEEKDAYS AFTER THE 7 A.M. MASS.
SATURDAY 4TH APRIL 2026 – HOLY SATURDAY
7.30 a.m. : Prayer service in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows to be conducted by the Canossian Sisters.
9.30 p.m. : Easter Vigil Service.
(Please bring your own candles).
SUNDAY 5TH APRIL 2026 – EASTER SUNDAY
7.00 a.m. : Mass in Konkani.
8.00 a.m. : Mass in English.
9.30 a.m. : Mass in English.
NO MASS IN THE EVENING.
12 noon : Easter blessing in homes. (Prayer attached)
Holy water will be available near the Sacristy from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
