23^rd & 24^th May 2026 – PENTECOST SUNDAY – ANNOUNCEMENTS

1. A preliminary meeting of the newly elected Parish Council members for the term 2026 – 2029, Community Coordinator, and Heads of Parish Associations and Cells will be held on today / tomorrow Sunday 24 May soon after the 9.30 a.m. Mass in the Drill Hall. Kindly make it convenient to be present.
2. Fr Cleophas has been transferred to St Andrew’s Church Bandra. Fr Anthony has been transferred to Gloria Church Byculla. Fr Calistus will have temporary residence in our parish and has been appointed as Pastoral Animator of Our Lady of Hope Chapel, Ghormal. Ghodbunder Road, Thane. We thank Fr Cleophas, Fr Anthony and Fr Calistus for their services to our parish.
3. The formation process of the Parish Youth Council is now underway. Each community is requested to nominate 2 Representatives – 1 Male and 1 Female – to represent the community on the Council.
4. The Rosary is being recited at the grotto from Monday to Friday at 6.30 p.m. All are encouraged to participate.
5. On the occasion of  the feast of Pentecost, a special Pentecost prayer service will be held in the evening soon after the 6 p.m. Mass. All are invited.
6. Anthony’s Lunch for the poor will be served on Sunday 14^th June. Contributions towards the food may be given at the Parish Office.
7. Families whose loved ones are buried for two years or more, in the temporary graves are requested to transfer the mortal remains to the niches at the earliest. The Church discourages the practice of permanently preserving mortal remains in the niches. The faithful are also requested to avoid distributing snacks or refreshments on memorial days. Families are encouraged instead to observe these occasions through prayer, Holy Mass, and acts of charity
