Parish Notices
21st & 22nd March 2026 – 5th SUNDAY OF LENT – ANNOUNCEMENTS
- Way of the Cross in Konkani will be on Wednesdays at 6.15 p.m. and in English on this Friday will be conducted by Rosa Mystica, Regina Pacis & St. Patrick communities.
- Meeting of ushers for Holy Week will be held tomorrow/ today after 9.30 a.m. mass in the AV room.
- Our parish choir will present a special Lenten musical reflection on the Passion of Christ titled “Echoes of the Cross” tomorrow/today after the evening Mass. We encourage you to attend and also invite others for this spiritual event.
- The youth of our parish will offer a special adoration along with confession on Wednesday, 25th March after the 7 p.m. mass. All youth of our parish are invited to participate.
- The Legion of Mary will be conducting the night Way of the Cross on Friday, 27th March starting from the Church at 10 p.m. and will cover the crosses in our vicinity. Please join with a prayerful spirit in large numbers.
- Parishioners are kindly reminded to return the ballot slip with your choice for community leadership, duly filled in, to your Community Coordinator or Parish Council member at the earliest.
- Confessions during Lent are heard every Friday and Saturday before the evening Mass. Parishioners are encouraged not to wait until the last moment.
- Lenten Bible Enrichment Classes are held every Saturday after the 7 pm evening Mass. All are welcome.
- Next Sunday is Palm Sunday. Blessing of Palms at 8 a.m. behind the grotto followed by procession and mass. Mass in English at 9.30 a.m. At 5 p.m. prayer in church followed by procession, Veronica’s song, sermon by Fr. Joseph David and mass at 6 p.m.
- The Lenten program for 2026 alongwith the Easter blessing prayer is circulated on whatsapp. Kindly ensure you receive it.
- Kindly refer to the notice board for details regarding summer part-time courses at Cardijn Technical Institute, Career & placement fair at St. Andrew’s college, Bandra etc.

The Legion of Mary will be conducting a Pilgrim Way of the Cross across 14 crosses in the vicinity of our parish starting at 10 p.m. from the Church.
SUNDAY 29TH MARCH 2026 – PALM SUNDAY
Blessing of Palms at 8.00 a.m. followed by procession to the Church for Mass. Mass in English at 9.30 a.m.
At 5 p.m. prayer in church followed by procession, Veronica’s song, sermon by Fr. Joseph David and mass at 6 p.m.
MONDAY 30TH & TUESDAY 31ST MARCH 2026
Confessions: Morning: 7.30 to 8.00 a.m.
Evening: 5.30 to 7.00 p.m. and 7.30 to 8.30 p.m.
THURSDAY 2ND APRIL 2026 – MAUNDY THURSDAY
5.30 p.m.: Mass of the Lord’s Supper in Konkani & Washing of the feet.
7.30 p.m.: Mass of the Lord’s Supper in English & Washing of the feet.
9.00-09.30 p.m.: Holy hour at the Altar of Repose(silent adoration)
9.30-10.30 p.m.: Holy hour at the Altar of Repose in Konkani.
10.30-11.30 p.m.: Holy hour at the Altar of Repose in English.
FRIDAY 3RD APRIL 2026 – GOOD FRIDAY (A Day of Fast & Abstinence)
07.00 a.m. : Way of the Cross in Konkani in Church
09.00 a.m. : The Way of the Cross will start from the respective
communities, praying the first seven stations along the
way. The remaining seven will be in the church beginning
at 10.00 a.m.
10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. : Sermon on Passion of the five wounds of Jesus
by Fr. Henry D’souza SVD
4.00 p.m. : Solemn Good Friday Service in Konkani
6.00 p.m. : Solemn Good Friday Service in English followed by Passo
service.
DIVINE MERCY NOVENA BEGINS ON GOOD FRIDAY AT 5.45 P.M., ON HOLY SATURDAY AFTER THE 7.30 A.M. SERVICE, ON EASTER SUNDAY AFTER 8 A.M. MASS & ON WEEKDAYS AFTER THE 7 A.M. MASS.
SATURDAY 4TH APRIL 2026 – HOLY SATURDAY
7.30 a.m. : Prayer service in honour of Our Lady of Sorrows to be conducted by the Canossian Sisters.
9.30 p.m. : Easter Vigil Service.
(Please bring your own candles).
SUNDAY 5TH APRIL 2026 – EASTER SUNDAY
7.00 a.m. : Mass in Konkani.
8.00 a.m. : Mass in English.
9.30 a.m. : Mass in English.
NO MASS IN THE EVENING.
12 noon : Easter blessing in homes. (Prayer attached)
Holy water will be available near the Sacristy from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Easter Sunday.
