Parish Notices
28th Feb & 1st Mar 2026 – 2nd SUNDAY OF LENT – ANNOUNCEMENTS
1. PPC meeting on Sunday, 1st March, after the 9.30 am mass.
2. Meeting of Senior Citizens on Monday 2nd March at 5.30 p.m.
3. SCC Co-ordinators meeting on Thursday, 5th March after the 7 p.m. mass.
4. 6th March is the First Friday of the month. Holy Half hour at 6.30 p.m.
5. The way of the Cross this Friday will be conducted by Holy Cross, Holy Spirit & Holy Trinity communities.
6. Eucharistic Ministers meeting on Friday 6th March, after the 7.00 p.m. mass.
7. Confessions on every Friday from 6.30 to 7 p.m. & on Saturdays from 5.30 to 6.00 p.m. during Lent.
8. Bible enrichment session will be conducted every Saturday after the 7 p.m. mass.
9. As Lenten preparation, a special session on the theme ‘Women in the Bible’ is arranged on Sunday, 8th March after the 9.30 a.m. mass in the church. All are welcome.
10. Blood donation camp by BCS on Sunday 15th March. Kindly register at the helpdesk.
11. As lenten observance, all parishioners are urged to take part in the cluster weekly prayer organised by the community animators.
12. A box is kept below the Main Altar in the Church for Lenten Alms. This money will be spent for the training of future Priests in Goregaon Seminary. Put your cash and cheque donations in this box. Cheques should be made in the name of: ARCHDIOCESE OF BOMBAY. No receipts for cash donation
13. Ballot slips will be given this week to every adult member to write their choice for parish leadership. Kindly ensure that you get the slip from your PPC member.
Parish Lenten Programme: 2026
Lenten Cross Pilgrimage:
During this Lenten season, the Cross will move from one family to another. Cluster-wise weekly prayer meetings will be held throughout Lent at strategic places.
The Lenten Cross journey will culminate on Good Friday in the church with a community-wise Way of the Cross, followed by preaching on the Five Wounds of Jesus by Fr. Hendry SVD.
Confessions: During Lent – every Friday from 6.30 to 7 p.m. & on Saturdays from 5.30 to 6.00 p.m.
Bible Enrichment Session:
Every Saturday after the 7:00 p.m. Mass in the AV Room.
Way of the Cross: On Sundays, after 8 am mass for children, on Wednesdays in Konkani at 6.15 pm & on Fridays after 7 pm mass by SCCs.
Legal Reconciliation Enrichment Session:
On Sunday 22nd February, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass in the church.
Youth Mass & Interactive Session:
On Sunday 22nd February – Youth Mass, followed by an interactive session in the 3rd Floor AV Room.
Eye-camp: On Sunday 22nd February, free eye testing & discounted prices for glasses in AV room in the morning.
Women in the Bible – Enrichment Session:
On Sunday 8th March, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass.
Wellness and Spiritual Health Session:
On Sunday 15th March, after the 9:30 a.m. Mass.
Blood Donation Camp:
On Sunday 15th March, blood donation camp will be held in the morning.
Passion Choir Recital:
On Sunday 22nd March, after the 6:00 p.m. mass, by our Victoria Choir.
Night Way of the Cross:
On Friday 27th March at 9 p.m. from the Church by Legion of Mary.
Palm Sunday ( 29th March):
Blessing of Palms at 8:00 a.m. followed by Mass.
Evening Procession with the Veronica Song.
